Position Summary

The Subject Matter Expert, Compliance Programs is a knowledgeable, passionate, and conscientious visionary who will support various initiatives around compliance programs and corporate social responsibility. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a Regulatory Compliance Team in developing market-leading compliance programs, and software and services solutions for a wide variety of customers and industries. You will be an instrumental Subject Matter Expert for the development of new capabilities while constantly improving existing functionality. Preference will be given to candidates located in Europe.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Immediate support of programs covering regulatory and industry objectives for materials management (e.g. RoHS, REACH) and other related topics;
  • Staying up-to-date with any regulatory and industry-led developments;
  • Representing Assent Compliance as a Subject Matter Expert and thought leader and support Assent’s company profile enhancing activities;
  • Organizing and developing thought leadership webinars in core Assent Compliance compliance programs;
  • Supporting the development of training and educational content;
  • Planning and writing industry-leading white papers on important compliance topics;
  • Planning and speaking at industry-leading conferences and seminars in relevant compliance engagements;
  • Build strategic partnerships with various stakeholders from the private sector, not-for-profit, and Government;
  • Supporting standards development (e.g. IPC, IEC, ChemSHERPA) and trade association programs (e.g. IAEG, IMDS);
  • Supporting all Assent teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Development, Product Development) to ensure they have access to the necessary regulatory information and tools they need;
  • Supporting customer engagements as a technical resource remotely and in person;
  • Driving new areas of compliance business programs that complement and enhance the Assent Compliance SaaS Platform. You will bring market, customer and industry perspectives to influence Assent and its product directions.

Position Summary

Our Ottawa East Office is looking for a Paid Advertising Coordinator to manage the advancement of Assent’s paid search campaigns and content networks. PPC and online ads are so much more than optimizing keywords… this position will require an individual who relishes in data and metrics. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Assent Compliance’s SEM campaigns, while ensuring the optimization of Assent’s digital presence. If you are passionate about online marketing – this role is for you.​

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Manage all paid advertising initiatives with a focus on online and digital
  • Develop keyword lists and ad copy for paid search campaigns
  • Develop PPC bidding strategies
  • Monitor, analyze and report on performance of paid search campaigns and optimize spending based on ROI and ROAS
  • Actively test and analyze keywords, ad copy, landing pages and positioning to maximize results
  • Create new paid search campaigns and monitor existing SEM campaigns
  • Create/modify landing pages used in search engine marketing campaigns
  • QA campaigns before launching
  • Make campaign and keyword optimization changes under direction of Marketing Operations & Advertising Manager
  • Produce campaign reports
  • Budget stewardship to ensure campaigns are managed efficiently
  • Keyword research
  • Competitive analysis & research
  • Recommends changes in methods to increase traffic & leads
  • Works with the Marketing Team to develop and execute PPC strategies utilizing technology, prospect insights and behaviour
