Tim Sheehan is the Enterprise Compliance and Risk Manager for the Raytheon Global Substances Program. In his current capacity, Tim leads efforts at the corporate and international aerospace industry levels to develop management approaches to chemical regulatory and supply chain risks. Tim has over 35 years of management experience in chemical, environmental and occupational safety and health risk management, in private consulting, manufacturing, and governmental settings. He is a former US military officer, and has educational degrees in chemical and environmental engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

Peter Wheeldon

Product Compliance Professional


An expert in practical product and supply chain compliance, Peter Wheeldon has worked in the compliance space since 1994. He began his career in environmental product responsibility (packaging), and has extensive experience in a wide range of product compliance challenges and issues. In his previous role at Premier Farnell, Peter was the head of a team responsible for RoHS, REACH, conflict minerals, waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and battery compliance, CE marking, and more.

He also spent seven years managing the regulatory team at Intertek, one of the largest certification, testing and consultancies in the world.

Raj is currently completing his PhD on the impact of chemical regulations on the aerospace and defense industry at the University of Derby. He is the Subject Matter Expert in Materials Management and Chemical Reporting (Europe) on the Assent Compliance Regulatory team.
